My Approach & Modalities
In my work, I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. IFS allows us to explore and compassionately engage with the different “parts” of ourselves — particularly those that protect us, carry our pain, or keep us stuck — so that we can access more balance, clarity, and self-leadership.
Through a trauma-informed lens, I help clients process and integrate overwhelming experiences in ways that restore safety to both the body and nervous system, making room for resilience and post-traumatic growth.
When working with couples, I utilize the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy— a highly researched, practical framework that focuses on improving communication, reducing conflict, rebuilding trust, and strengthening friendship and connection.
